Script translations

Would you like to have your script translated?
No problem, we´re going to do this for you! The translation of a script is made up of several parts. In a first step we create the rough translation of the original dialogues, at which we try to stick to the target language as close as possible. Phrases, colloquial speech, sayings and metaphors are explained by means of so-called subnotes in order to facilitate the following work process for the dialogue editor. Besides that, the first step includes a thorough explanation of all technical terms and specific definitions.

The rough translation is followed by the actual conversion into the required target language through a dialogue or dubbing editor. Since the decision on the ultimate dialogues depends on him, it is essential for him to carry out thorough research with regard to the phrases and language hints used in the source text so as to ensure the accurate translation into the target language.

Our experienced script translators know what it comes down to in terms of creating the rough translation and can therefore contribute to the success of the movie in the target language.
